Bestselling author Jody Sharpe has announced a new angel story for her Angel Stories channel on YouTube, along with the release of the audiobook version of her bestselling novel, 20 Moon Road, An Angel's Tale.
The new story, shared by a woman named Judy, recounts an encounter she had at an AA meeting where a stranger delivered a message that her sister, struggling with drug abuse, would be okay. Sharpe noted, "It took thirty years for Judy to tell the story. It's a story of intervention which is the greatest gift to give anyone suffering from drug abuse. Intervention helped someone in my own family find strength and resolve." Sharpe emphasized the power of such encounters, saying, "We meet these angels so many times not knowing they are real angels at the time until they have gone from sight. They help us grow with whispers of encouragement and hope."
In addition to the YouTube story, Sharpe has released the audiobook for 20 Moon Road, which is book 5 in her Mystic Bay Series. More audiobooks are expected to follow. Sharpe has been collecting angel stories for years, drawing from personal experiences and submissions from others. Many of these stories find their way into her books, which have earned her recognition, including a 1st Place Winner of the 2023 National Association of Press Women's Communications Contest Award for Fiction for Adult Readers - Novellas.

Her latest book, New Angel In Town, draws on such stories. Set in Mystic Bay, California, where angels live as humans, the novel follows Angel Ron, a new angel tasked with ensuring Evan, a boy in foster care, finds a forever home. Meanwhile, writer Noah Greenstreet is creating a film about the townsfolk's angel encounters. The book explores themes of love, goodwill, and the impact of angelic intervention. Reviewers have praised the book, with one Amazon reviewer calling it "a masterclass in child advocacy, true love, & angel-ology" and another noting that "The angel experiences shared in the book seem real and remind the reader of the meaning of love and how it can change lives."
Sharpe's other works include To Catch an Angel, Town Of Angels, Town Of Angels Christmas, The Dog Who Came For Christmas, and Summer Of Angels, all set in the same Mystic Bay universe.
