BZBGEAR Unveils REEVE Control System and Full Residential AV Lineup at CEDIA Expo 2026

BZBGEAR, a Sacramento-based manufacturer of professional AV and broadcasting solutions, has announced the debut of its REEVE™ control system and a comprehensive residential product lineup at CEDIA Expo 2026, taking place September 2-4 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. The company's booth C900 will feature live demonstrations of these new offerings, which are designed to address common pain points in residential AV integration.

The REEVE™ control system is positioned as a solution to the fragmented nature of home control, where separate remotes, apps, and wall panels often complicate simple tasks. REEVE™ consolidates video, audio, climate, cameras, and other connected devices into a single interface organized by zones, such as living areas, private suites, and outdoor spaces. Unlike traditional control systems that require a dedicated rack or server PC, REEVE™ runs directly on a wall-mounted tablet, reducing hardware costs and installation time.

Key features of REEVE™ include zone-based organization, which allows integrators to group spaces according to how clients live, and scene functionality, which lets a single tap configure all devices in a zone. The system operates without an internet connection, with the cloud used only for design, updates, and remote oversight. It is compatible with a wide range of third-party devices, including displays from Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio, Sharp, TCL, Hisense, and Panasonic, as well as streaming sources like Chromecast, Apple TV, Roku TV, and Fire TV. REEVE™ also supports control of climate systems, professional audio, cameras, lighting, access control, motorized shades, and projection.

REEVE™ is delivered as a three-part ecosystem: REEVE™ Studio for visual design, REEVE™ Player for client interaction, and REEVE™ Cloud for secure configuration and remote support. The software is included with compatible BZBGEAR products, with no license or activation fees, though the tablet is sold separately.

In addition to REEVE™, BZBGEAR is showcasing its expanded residential lineup, starting with the XLink-ONE AV-over-IP series. The BG-IPGEAR-XTREME is a multicast transceiver over 1GbE with USB 3.1 for KVM, while the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-PRO supports 48Gbps HDMI 2.1, 4K120, video wall and multiview modes, and transmission up to 170 meters over Cat5e. These endpoints are purchased individually, allowing integrators to scale systems incrementally.

The AIR4KAST wireless HDMI family, which has won multiple awards, includes the BG-AIR4KAST for 4K60 at up to 164 feet, the BG-AIR4KAST-MKX for one-to-four multi-display setups, and the BG-AIR4KAST-PRO with latency as low as 16 milliseconds and KVM support. BZBGEAR is also offering right-sized switching solutions, starting at $199 for a 4x2 matrix, and highlighting the BG-4K-VP44, a 4x4 that functions as a seamless matrix, video wall processor, and multiviewer.

For 8K readiness, BZBGEAR offers switchers starting at $39 and matrices from $299, emphasizing that the real benefit of HDMI 2.1 is full 4K120 4:4:4 HDR performance. The company also targets the often-overlooked KVM category for home offices, with 4K KVM switches from $149 and 8K models starting at $399, including options with USB 3.0 and multiview capabilities.

Eugene Bocharov, CEO of BZBGEAR, stated, "Control has always been the part of a residential system where good hardware goes to die — the interface is confusing, the programming is expensive, and the client stops using half of what they paid for. REEVE™ is our answer to that. One interface, organized around how people actually live in a space, running locally on a tablet with no rack and no server PC."
