Canadian Salsa Festivals Project Announces Expanded 2026 Season with New Niagara Falls Event

The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) has announced its most ambitious season to date, featuring a series of events running from June through September 2026. The lineup includes the inaugural Salsa at Niagara Falls, marking the festival's first expansion to one of Canada's most iconic tourism destinations.

Scheduled for September 12 and 13, Salsa at Niagara Falls is being organized in partnership with Niagara Falls Tourism, the Niagara Parks Commission, and Fallsview Casino Resort. Adam Stiles, Interim President and CEO of Niagara Falls Tourism, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, 'Salsa at Niagara Falls is exactly the kind of vibrant, world-class event our destination is made for. It's a perfect addition to our September calendar for the next several years.' He added that the celebration of Latin music, dance, and food will 'activate Niagara Falls collectively.'

The CSFP also announced expanded support from longtime festival sponsor TD Bank Group, which has increased its title sponsorship to include Salsa Tremblant in Quebec's Laurentians region, while renewing as title sponsor of Salsa on St. Clair in Toronto and Salsa at Blue Mountain in Collingwood. Robyn Small, Senior Manager, Philanthropy, Corporate Citizenship at TD Bank Group, highlighted the importance of cultural festivals: 'Festivals like TD Salsa on St. Clair bring people together to celebrate what shapes us — our stories, food, music, and art. We're proud to support access to cultural experiences that help people feel welcome, seen and connected.'

As the founder and longstanding official media partner of Salsa in Toronto, TLN Media Group has championed the festival's growth from a local street celebration into a nationally recognized cultural platform. Aldo Di Felice, President & Managing Partner of TLN Media Group, noted, 'Salsa in Toronto has become one of Canada's premier cultural celebrations, bringing together hundreds of thousands of people each year while showcasing the power of music, culture, and community to create meaningful social and economic impact across Ontario and beyond.'

The returning festivals include TD Salsa at Blue Mountain from June 26 to 28, which kicks off the summer season with Latin energy in the Blue Mountain Village. Patti Kendall, President of the Blue Mountain Village Association, stated, 'Salsa at Blue is a highly anticipated event that brings vibrant Latin energy to the Village... We're thrilled to host an experience that not only visitors love but also drives meaningful economic activity at Blue and throughout the region.'

TD Salsa on St. Clair, Canada's largest free Latin-themed street festival, returns July 11 and 12 in Toronto's Hillcrest Village. It will feature over 350 live performers, weekend headliners including JUNO nominee Andy Rubal and award-winning Latin/tropical artist Yani Borrell, the Fiesta Parade presented by Lenpanada, over 35 authentic Latin food vendors representing more than 15 countries, and 25-plus dance instructors.

TD Salsa Tremblant returns for its third year from August 21 to 23, transforming Quebec's Laurentian region with live performances, dancing, and Latin flavours in the Tremblant Pedestrian Village. Nicolas Dien, Event Director of the Tremblant Resort Association, said, 'We are very proud to be hosting Salsa Tremblant for a third consecutive year. This event perfectly embodies Tremblant's DNA — a vibrant, welcoming destination where music, dance, and nature come together.'

Returning festival program favourites include the Vibrante Latin Art Exhibition from June 6 to July 12 at Toronto's Little EGG Gallery, showcasing emerging Latino artists under 18. Free dance lessons in salsa, bachata, and Latin dance will be offered across Southern Ontario from May to August. Salsa on Market Street returns on August 9 in Toronto's historic Old Town, and Family Salsa Dance Lessons at Toronto Museums will run from August to October.

The Salsa Festival series is founded by TLN Media Group and produced by the Canadian Salsa Festivals Project, a federally incorporated not-for-profit organization. The expanded 2026 season underscores CSFP's mission to develop and present ethno-culturally relevant heritage-based experiences that elevate public appreciation of Canada's multicultural traditions.
