Comedy Village NYC, located at 352 West 44th Street in Times Square, has announced two special Pride Month comedy events: “People Be Gay... and Hilarious!” on Wednesday, June 24 at 8PM and “Celebrate Pride Feat” on Thursday, June 25 at 8PM. The shows aim to celebrate laughter, identity, community, and New York City nightlife, featuring a lineup of standout comedians including Harrison Greenbaum, Jaye McBride, Akeem Woods, Paula J. Leon, and Oscar Aydin.

“These shows are about celebrating Pride with laughter, visibility, and community,” said a Comedy Village representative. “New York City has always been a place where comedy, culture, and identity meet. Pride Month is the perfect time to bring people together for a night of big laughs, great energy, and unforgettable live entertainment in Times Square.”

Harrison Greenbaum brings sharp writing, fast-paced delivery, and a polished stage presence to the lineup. He has performed at major comedy clubs and appeared on programs including America’s Got Talent, Conan, and Last Comic Standing. His background also includes comedy and magic, making his performance style highly engaging for live audiences.

Jaye McBride adds a powerful and authentic voice to the Pride Month celebration. McBride is widely recognized as a trailblazing transgender comedian and was noted as the first openly transgender American comedian to perform at Madison Square Garden. She was also named to Vulture’s “Comedians You Should and Will Know” list in 2022, establishing her as one of the important voices in modern stand-up comedy.

Akeem Woods brings charisma, rhythm, and a crowd-friendly comedy style to the stage. His performance energy makes him a strong fit for Comedy Village’s Times Square audience, where tourists, locals, and nightlife crowds come together for fast-moving, live stand-up comedy. Oscar Aydin rounds out the lineup with a bold stage presence and high-energy comedy voice, helping bring together the spirit of Pride Month with the excitement of live comedy.

The two-night Pride comedy celebration is designed for locals, tourists, LGBTQ+ audiences, allies, Broadway visitors, nightlife fans, and anyone searching for fun things to do in NYC at night. Guests can expect live stand-up comedy, surprise moments, great drinks, food, and Comedy Village’s signature slogan: “You never know who’ll stop by.”

Comedy Village’s Pride Month shows also highlight the venue’s growing role as a Times Square comedy club supporting diverse voices, new audiences, and NYC’s vibrant stand-up comedy scene. From comedy shows near Broadway to late-night entertainment in Midtown Manhattan, Comedy Village continues to position itself as a must-visit destination for live comedy in New York City.
