Generation Uranium Integrates MMT Survey and Evaluates AI Targeting to Advance Yath Project

Generation Uranium Inc. (TSXV: GEN, OTCQB: GENRF, FRA: W85) is advancing its exploration planning for the 2026 field season at the Yath Project in Nunavut's Angilak district. The company is integrating results from a 2024 Mobile Magnetotellurics (MMT) survey and evaluating artificial intelligence as a tool to refine and rank targets, aiming to shorten the discovery cycle and maximize exploration efficiency.

The MMT survey, conducted by Expert Geophysics, covered 810 line kilometres over approximately 120 km² of the property, with a small block left incomplete due to weather. The survey targets unconformity-style uranium systems by identifying graphitic conductor fault zones, hydrothermal alteration halos, and deep structural controls. Integration of conductive and resistive MMT corridors with historic mapping and sampling has significantly narrowed target footprints, reducing them from hundreds of metres wide to zones only tens of metres wide. This refined orientation of key targets, including BOG, VGR, Embryo, FOX, and Lucky Break, reveals trends oblique to earlier interpretations.

Historic results at Yath include surface samples up to 9.8% U3O8 at the Embryo target and 1.0 m at 0.224% U3O8 from 25.5 m in drillhole BOG-8-80. The company is advancing these targets toward drill-ready status as it awaits drill permit approval.

In addition to MMT integration, Generation is evaluating multiple AI-driven geological service providers to support advanced target analysis. CEO Michael Collins noted that the MMT data represents a major leap forward for buried uranium targeting, a concept validated by Atha Energy's five new discoveries (Atha Energy press release, May 5, 2026) on the adjacent Angilak Project. Collins stated, “Generation has a real opportunity to shorten the discovery cycle at Yath while maximizing exploration dollars and drilling effectiveness.” However, mineralization on adjacent properties is not necessarily indicative of mineralization on Generation’s property.

The uranium market context supports the company's efforts. In 2026, spot uranium prices surpassed US$100/lb early in the year, driven by a structural supply deficit and accelerating demand from AI-powered data centers and nuclear capacity expansion in China, India, and the United States. Long-term contract prices have moved above spot, reflecting tightened supply. A comprehensive sector report by Shaw and Partners (February 2026) forecasts a potential multi-year uranium price spike toward US$200/lb, citing tightening fuel contracting cycles and persistent supply shortfalls. Global nuclear capacity consumes about 180 million pounds (Mlb) of U3O8 annually, while mine production delivers only about 150 Mlb. The World Nuclear Association's reference scenario (World Nuclear Fuel Report 2025) projects nuclear capacity could expand significantly by 2040, pushing annual uranium consumption toward 390 Mlb. The report indicates new mine supply requirements this decade could exceed 350 Mlb, with structural supply deficits potentially surpassing 200 Mlb per year in coming decades unless new large-scale projects are brought into production.

Generation Uranium is positioning itself to contribute to future uranium supply through its Yath Project in the emerging Angilak district. The company continues to integrate datasets to define the most prospective drill targets for discovery.
