Genesis of Schererville has officially opened its new 25,000-square-foot showroom at 5800 W Lincoln Hwy, Schererville, IN, consolidating all sales, service, and parts operations into a single facility. The move replaces the previous Genesis of Merrillville location and marks a significant investment in the luxury automotive brand's presence in Northwest Indiana.
The showroom's design reflects Genesis's 'son-nim' philosophy, which treats every visitor as an honored guest. The space features expansive natural light, a dedicated interior Zen garden, and a hospitality-centered environment. The facility includes 12 service bays staffed by Genesis-certified technicians, with a glass wall allowing customers to watch their vehicles being serviced. Four Level 3 DC fast chargers are available 24/7 for electric vehicle owners.
This opening comes on the heels of Genesis's notable performance in the J.D. Power Initial Quality Study, where the brand ranked second in the industry, trailing only Porsche. Brian Webb, vice president of Genesis of Schererville, highlighted this achievement, stating, 'J.D. Power recently ranked Genesis second in the industry for Initial Quality, behind only Porsche. The Genesis lineup at the new showroom includes the G70, G80, and G90 sedans; GV70, GV80, and GV80 Coupe SUVs; and the electric GV60, Electrified GV70, and Electrified G80. Upcoming models include the GV90, GV80 Hybrid, GV70 Hybrid, and GV70 EREV. Genesis vehicles come equipped with premium features such as Nappa leather seating, OLED displays, fingerprint authentication, and Remote Smart Parking Assist.
Ownership benefits through 'The Genesis Experience' include complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles, and the Genesis Service Valet, which picks up and delivers vehicles for service. First owners of 2023 and newer models also receive complimentary Genesis Connected Services, including Enhanced Roadside Assistance and Remote Start with Climate Control. Warranty coverage includes five years or 60,000 miles for the new vehicle and 10 years or 100,000 miles for powertrain components.
