Best Lawyers has named Giselle Gutierrez, Esq. to the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the practice area of Litigation - Labor and Employment for the Coral Gables, Florida region. The selection is her first inclusion on the publication's primary list; she has appeared on Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America, the early-career list, since 2022. The 2027 editions were released on August 20, 2026.
Now in its 33rd year, The Best Lawyers in America recognizes attorneys across 151 practice areas and 203 metropolitan and geographic regions, representing approximately the top five percent of practicing attorneys in the market. Results for this edition were informed by millions of confidential evaluations submitted by tens of thousands of voting attorneys. The publication does not accept self-nomination. An attorney enters consideration only upon nomination by another member of the profession, after which currently recognized attorneys in the same practice area and region complete confidential evaluations of that candidate's work. Inclusion therefore reflects the assessment of practitioners who appear alongside and in opposition to the nominee.
"Peer review recognition is distinct from other forms of professional acknowledgment, because the evaluations are submitted by attorneys who have observed the work directly, including those who have opposed it," said Giselle Gutierrez, Esq., founding attorney of Exhibit G Law Firm. "Inclusion on this list reflects the judgment of colleagues who practice in the same courts and appear before the same agencies. I am grateful for their consideration and for the confidence our clients continue to place in this firm."
Additional recognitions for Gutierrez include the Daily Business Review's On The Rise honor in the 2025 Florida Legal Awards, Lawyers of Distinction in 2025, the University of Florida Levin College of Law Outstanding Young Alumnus Award, and Miami Today's Achiever recognition.
Exhibit G Law Firm is a business and employment law firm serving clients in South Florida and northern New Jersey, with offices in Miami and Hoboken. Founded by Gutierrez, the firm handles discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wage and overtime, whistleblower, separation agreement, and employment contract matters for businesses and individuals. A full list of practice areas is available on the firm's website. Gutierrez earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and served as president of the Cuban American Bar Association in 2023 and on the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors.
The recognition matters because it signals to clients and the legal community that Gutierrez's labor and employment litigation practice has been vetted by peers who know her work in the courtroom and before administrative agencies. For businesses and individuals in South Florida and northern New Jersey seeking counsel in workplace disputes, the Best Lawyers designation provides an independent, peer-driven measure of quality. It also highlights the growing prominence of a firm founded relatively recently, suggesting that smaller, specialized practices can compete for the same recognition as larger, established firms. As employment law continues to evolve with new regulations and workplace norms, having attorneys recognized for their expertise in litigation - labor and employment can offer reassurance to those navigating complex disputes.
