Greenland Mines Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRML) has released a shareholder letter from President Dr. Bo Møller Stensgaard, detailing significant milestones achieved since the company's rebranding in March. The letter underscores the closing of the Sarfartoq Neodymium-Praseodymium (Nd-Pr) Rare Earths Project acquisition on September 1 and ongoing development at the Skaergaard palladium-gold-platinum project, both of which are central to the company's strategy to become a multi-asset critical minerals player.

The Sarfartoq project, located in southwest Greenland, is a key asset for the company's rare earth ambitions. An independent Initial Assessment cited a high-case pre-tax net present value (NPV) of approximately $2.05 billion with an internal rate of return (IRR) of 118.6%, including Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resources. The updated resource estimate reveals 6.9 million tonnes of Indicated resources at 1.60% Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO) and 5.3 million tonnes of Inferred resources at 0.96% TREO. These figures highlight the project's substantial scale and economic potential. Moreover, Greenland Mines has secured Neo Performance Materials as a strategic shareholder with offtake rights for up to 60% of future Sarfartoq production, ensuring a ready market for the rare earth concentrates. This upgrade underscores the project's enhanced viability. A comprehensive 2026 field program is underway, including drilling, bulk sampling, geotechnical work, environmental baseline studies, and surveys. Bulk material is being sent to GTK Mintec in Finland for metallurgical and processing flowsheet testing, a crucial step toward developing a robust mining plan. These activities are expected to support an Initial Assessment for Skaergaard, which will evaluate a mining scenario and further de-risk the project.

Looking ahead, Greenland Mines has outlined its remaining 2026 milestones. For Sarfartoq, the company aims to advance toward targeted infill drilling and a Pre-Feasibility Study, which will provide more detailed engineering and economic evaluations. For Skaergaard, the focus is on progressing toward an Initial Assessment that will incorporate the latest resource data and metallurgical test results. Additionally, the company is developing its broader North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor strategy, which aims to link Greenland's mineral resources with allied downstream jurisdictions and industrial infrastructure in North America and Europe.
