Ignite Counseling Colorado has been selected as a 2026 Colorado Companies to Watch award winner, an honor that recognizes second-stage companies demonstrating strong performance, leadership, and industry impact. The award highlights the practice's growth and dedication to expanding compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across Colorado.
Founded in 2009, Colorado Companies to Watch identifies growth-stage organizations that excel in their fields and communities, offering year-round programming and resources to support their development. For Ignite Counseling Colorado, the recognition reflects a journey that began in 2018 when Founder and Clinical Director Carla D'Agostino-Vigil started the practice with a focus on exceptional clinical care. What started as a solo practice has evolved into a team of highly-trained clinicians providing specialized treatment for anxiety, trauma, OCD, relationship challenges, and life transitions to individuals, couples, adolescents, and families.
"We're incredibly honored to receive this recognition from Colorado Companies to Watch," said Carla D'Agostino-Vigil, Founder and CEO of Ignite Counseling Colorado. "This award comes at an especially meaningful time as we prepare to open our new Youth & Family Therapy Center in Westminster. Expanding our services for children and teens ages 6–17, including play therapy, EMDR therapy, and individual counseling, reflects our continued commitment to meeting the growing mental health needs of our community."
The new Youth & Family Therapy Center underscores the practice's ongoing mission to ensure every client feels seen, heard, and supported. As part of Mindfully Behavioral Health, Ignite Counseling Colorado continues to expand access to high-quality behavioral health services throughout the Denver Metro area while maintaining a warm, community-centered culture. This recognition underscores the organization's dedication to making compassionate, evidence-based mental health care more accessible for individuals and families across Colorado.
"This recognition isn't simply about growth," added D'Agostino-Vigil. "It's about staying true to who we are while continuing to serve more people. We remain committed to providing exceptional care, supporting our communities, and helping every client build a healthier, more fulfilling life."
The award has implications for the broader mental health landscape in Colorado, highlighting the importance of second-stage companies in addressing the state's mental health needs. By expanding services for youth and families, Ignite Counseling Colorado is responding to a critical demand for specialized care, potentially influencing how other providers approach community-based mental health services.
