NCQC Laboratory LLP, a leading NABL-accredited calibration laboratory in India, has achieved a significant milestone by successfully completing an international on-site calibration project at ERRL Pte. ERRL Pte. Ltd. is a well-established product safety testing laboratory engaged in testing packaging materials used for transporting dangerous goods in accordance with the United Nations (UN) Recommendations. To ensure the continued accuracy and reliability of its testing operations, ERRL invited NCQC to carry out on-site calibration of several critical laboratory instruments, including weighing balances, a deep freezer, and a stability chamber.
Performing calibration at a customer's facility requires advanced technical competence, highly accurate reference standards, and strict adherence to internationally accepted procedures. For this project, NCQC utilized sophisticated calibration equipment, including E1 and E2 Class reference standard weights for weighing balance calibration and a high-precision temperature calibrator for temperature-controlled equipment. Throughout the process, NCQC maintained a Test Uncertainty Ratio (TUR) of approximately 4:1, ensuring all measurements met stringent accuracy requirements and internationally recognized metrological standards. Maintaining an appropriate TUR is a key indicator of calibration quality and provides greater confidence in the reliability of measurement results.
