Nevada Organic Phosphate Announces Private Placement to Fund Phase Two Drilling

Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. (CSE: NOP; OTCQB: NOPFF) has announced its intention to complete a non-brokered private placement of up to 11.1 million units at $0.18 per unit, aiming to raise gross proceeds of up to $2 million. The company, a B.C.-based leader in organic sedimentary phosphate exploration, stated that the funds will be used primarily to fund the phase two drill program at its Murdock Property and for general working capital.

The Murdock Property, located in northeast Nevada, hosts an organic sedimentary raw rock phosphate bed that is 6.6 kilometres long. Additional applications extend the potential strike of rock phosphate to over 30 kilometres. This project is believed to be the only known large-scale organic sedimentary phosphate project in North America, situated close to the main highway to Montello/Elko, Nevada, and near the rail head to California.

The announcement comes as the company seeks to advance exploration at a time when the agricultural industry is increasingly focused on sustainable and organic sources of phosphate. Phosphates are a critical component of fertilizers, and the development of domestic sources could reduce reliance on imports. The phase two drill program is expected to further delineate the resource and assess its economic viability.

For investors, the private placement offers an opportunity to participate in the company's growth at a unit price of $0.18. Each unit likely consists of one common share and one warrant, though the exact terms were not detailed in the release. The placement is non-brokered, meaning the company will directly solicit investors without an underwriter.

The company's status as a junior exploration company means that success hinges on the outcomes of its drilling programs and subsequent feasibility studies. If the Murdock Property proves to contain a commercially viable deposit, it could position Nevada Organic Phosphate as a key player in the North American phosphate market.
