Nevada Organic Phosphate Reports Encouraging Preliminary Results from Murdock Mountain Drill Hole

Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. (CSE: NOP; OTCQB: NOPFF) reported encouraging preliminary observations from its ongoing drilling program at the wholly owned Murdock Mountain Property in Nevada. The company announced that drill hole MM26-8 intersected an apparent 15.3-meter (50.2-foot) section of the Meade Peak unit, which contains the exploration target known as the Upper Phosphatic Zone. True thickness and phosphate content will be confirmed through laboratory assays, the results of which are pending.

The company also disclosed that drill hole MM26-9 has been collared approximately 100 meters north and upslope from a previous drill location. Drilling is set to resume following a mandatory crew rest period. Nevada Organic Phosphate stated that laboratory assay results from the current program will be released once received and validated.

This development is significant because the Murdock Mountain Property hosts what is believed to be the only known large-scale organic sedimentary phosphate project in North America. The property features a 6.6-kilometer-long organic sedimentary raw rock phosphate bed, with additional applications extending the potential strike of rock phosphate to over 30 kilometers. The site is strategically located close to the main highway to Montello/Elko, Nevada, and near the rail head to California, facilitating potential transportation and distribution.

Phosphate is a critical nutrient for agricultural fertilizers, and the United States relies heavily on imports for its phosphate supply. A domestic source of organic sedimentary phosphate could reduce import dependency and support the agricultural sector. For investors and the industry, successful delineation of this resource may position Nevada Organic Phosphate as a key player in the North American phosphate market.

The company is a junior exploration company focused on advancing its phosphate project. The preliminary results from Murdock Mountain highlight the potential of the property to host significant phosphate mineralization. Market participants will be watching for the assay results, which will provide crucial data on the grade and quality of the phosphate zone.
