Nicola Mining Signs Profit Share Agreement with Red Eye Resources for British Columbia Mill Processing

Nicola Mining Inc. (NASDAQ: NICM) (TSXV: NIM) (FSE: HLIA) has signed a Mining and Milling Profit Share Agreement with privately held Red Eye Resources Ltd., according to a press release. The agreement allows qualifying mineralized material to be transported to Nicola Mining's Merritt Mill near Merritt, British Columbia, for processing. The arrangement focuses exclusively on precious-metal opportunities, with profits shared equally between the two companies.

Nicola Mining highlighted that its Merritt Mill is the only facility in British Columbia permitted to accept third-party gold and silver mill feed from anywhere in the province. This unique positioning is central to the company's strategy of using the mill as a centralized processing platform for high-grade precious-metal projects across British Columbia. The mill provides project owners with access to established processing infrastructure without the significant capital requirements and permitting timelines typically associated with building standalone facilities.

The collaboration combines Red Eye Resources' project-generation and mining expertise with Nicola Mining's permitted milling infrastructure and existing projects. This synergy is expected to enhance the efficiency and viability of precious-metal projects in the region, potentially reducing the time and cost for developers to bring their resources to production.

Nicola Mining Inc. is a junior mining company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and the Frankfurt Exchange. The company owns a 100% interest in a mill and tailings facility located near Merritt, British Columbia. The fully permitted mill can process both gold and silver mill feed using gravity and flotation processes. Nicola Mining has previously signed similar profit share agreements with other high-grade gold projects, indicating a growing trend in the industry to utilize existing infrastructure rather than build new facilities.

Beyond its milling operations, Nicola Mining owns 100% of the New Craigmont Project, a high-grade copper property covering 10,913 hectares along the southern end of the Guichon Batholith. This property is adjacent to Highland Valley Copper, Canada's largest copper mine. The company also owns 100% of the Treasure Mountain Property, which includes 30 mineral claims and a mineral lease spanning over 2,200 hectares.

The agreement with Red Eye Resources is a strategic move that could have significant implications for the British Columbia mining sector. By leveraging existing infrastructure, smaller exploration and mining companies can avoid the high costs and lengthy regulatory processes of building new mills. This could accelerate the development of high-grade precious-metal projects, potentially increasing the supply of gold and silver in the region. For investors, this partnership may signal a more efficient path to production for junior miners, making such projects more attractive.
