PETADD, a new B2B wholesale marketplace for the global pet industry, has officially launched at https://petadd.com, offering pet product suppliers and retail pet shops a free platform to connect, negotiate, and transact directly. Unlike traditional wholesale platforms that charge subscription fees or monthly access costs, PETADD operates on a commission-only model—the platform earns only when a deal is successfully completed. This means suppliers and retailers can register and use all core features completely free of charge.
The platform provides four core functions: finding suppliers, finding retailers, communicating directly, and paying securely. Pet retailers and shop owners can browse and connect with verified wholesale suppliers from the EU, US, and beyond in one place. Suppliers and manufacturers can list their product catalogues and get discovered by thousands of pet shops actively looking for new stock. Built-in messaging tools allow buyers and sellers to negotiate terms, discuss order volumes, and build long-term business relationships without leaving the platform. PETADD also integrates direct payment processing so orders can be placed and paid for within the platform, reducing friction and eliminating the need for external invoicing tools. By cutting out intermediaries and connecting directly, both suppliers and retailers improve their margins and grow their businesses faster.
"The pet industry is growing rapidly worldwide, but B2B trade in this sector is still fragmented and inefficient," said a spokesperson for PETADD. "We built PETADD to fix that—a clean, modern marketplace where pet businesses can find partners, close deals, and scale. And because it is free to join, there is no barrier to getting started."
The announcement matters because it lowers the barrier to entry for small and mid-sized pet businesses that may be priced out of traditional wholesale platforms. By removing subscription fees and listing costs, PETADD allows retailers to experiment with new suppliers without upfront financial risk, while suppliers can list their full catalogues and gain visibility among thousands of pet shops at no cost. The commission-only structure aligns the platform's revenue with successful transactions, potentially encouraging more active trading and faster deal closure.
PETADD is currently in open beta and welcoming pet product suppliers, distributors, and retailers from across Europe and North America to register and list their catalogues. The company is registered in the United Kingdom (Company No. 17312266) and serves businesses across Europe and North America.
For the broader pet industry, the launch signals a shift toward more efficient, direct B2B trade channels. If successful, PETADD could reduce reliance on intermediaries, shorten supply chains, and help smaller retailers compete more effectively against larger chains by giving them access to a wider range of suppliers and direct negotiation tools. The platform's integrated payment processing may also reduce administrative overhead for both buyers and sellers, allowing them to focus on growth rather than invoicing and reconciliation. As the pet industry continues to expand worldwide, tools that streamline wholesale trade could play a meaningful role in how businesses source and sell products.
