Powermax Minerals Commences 2026 Exploration at Cameron Rare Earth Element Project in British Columbia

Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) (FSE: T23) has initiated its 2026 exploration program at its wholly owned Cameron Rare Earth Element (REE) project near Revelstoke, British Columbia. The three-week campaign is designed to build upon previous stream sediment, soil, and rock geochemical results through detailed geological mapping, prospecting, and targeted ground radiometric surveys.

The company stated that the program will integrate geological, geochemical, and radiometric data to better define previously identified REE anomaly corridors, constrain potential bedrock source areas, and improve understanding of pegmatite-hosted mineralization. The results will be used to rank exploration targets and guide future work, though management noted that the project remains at an early stage and that geochemical or radiometric anomalies do not necessarily indicate the presence of economically recoverable mineralization.

The Cameron REE Property comprises three mineral claims totaling approximately 2,984 hectares. Powermax Minerals is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on advancing rare earth element projects. In addition to the Cameron property, the company holds an option to acquire the Atikokan REE Property in Ontario, consisting of 455 unpatented mining claims, and the 5,178-hectare Pinard REE in Northern Ontario. Powermax also owns a 100% interest in the Ogden Bear Lodge Project in Crook County, Wyoming.

This exploration program is a significant step for Powermax as it seeks to identify and prioritize targets for potential future development. Rare earth elements are critical for various technologies, including electric vehicles, wind turbines, and electronics, making domestic sources increasingly important. The outcome of this program could influence the company's strategic direction and potentially contribute to the supply chain for these essential materials.

Powermax Minerals continues to advance its portfolio of REE projects, reflecting a broader industry effort to secure domestic sources of critical minerals. The Cameron project's progress will be closely watched by investors and industry stakeholders as the company moves through the exploration phases.
