Redcare Pharmacy N.V. has increased its full-year 2026 revenue guidance for the second time this year, citing robust prescription (Rx) revenue growth in Germany. The Netherlands-based online pharmacy now expects total revenue growth of 16% to 18%, up from the previously guided 15% to 17%. The company also raised its Rx revenue forecast for Germany to EUR 730 million to EUR 760 million, representing growth of 45% to 51%, compared to the earlier range of EUR 680 million to EUR 720 million, which implied growth of 35% to 43%. The announcement was made via NEWMEDIAWIRE.
The upgrade follows preliminary figures showing that Rx revenue in Germany grew by 51% year-on-year in September and 56% in the third quarter. September's performance was particularly notable given a high comparison base from the prior year, when the current Rx bonus was introduced. “Our growth is backed by strong customer satisfaction: eRx NPS continues to rise, up 6 points year-on-year to 80 in August,” said Olaf Heinrich, CEO of Redcare Pharmacy.
While Rx revenue remained strong throughout the quarter, non-Rx revenue in Germany rebounded well in August and September after a softer July. Based on preliminary figures, the adjusted EBITDA margin remained flat quarter-on-quarter, benefiting from continued operating leverage. The company confirmed its adjusted EBITDA margin guidance at between 2.5% and 3.0% and left its non-Rx growth guidance unchanged at 10% to 12%.
The raised guidance underscores Redcare Pharmacy's growing presence in the European online pharmacy market. With EUR 2.9 billion in revenues in 2025, the company serves over 14 million active customers across seven countries: Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. It offers more than 500,000 healthcare-related products, including over-the-counter drugs, nutritional supplements, beauty and personal care items, as well as prescription drugs in Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Redcare Pharmacy has been listed on the Regulated Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Prime Standard) since 2016 and is part of the SDAX.
The strong Rx momentum in Germany reflects broader trends in digital healthcare adoption, particularly as electronic prescriptions (eRx) gain traction. The rising eRx Net Promoter Score (NPS) indicates high customer satisfaction, which could further accelerate adoption and drive repeat business. For investors, the second guidance raise in a single year signals operational execution and market share gains. The confirmed EBITDA margin suggests that growth is not coming at the expense of profitability, as operating leverage improves.
Redcare Pharmacy will publish its Interim Statement for the third quarter of 2026 and host its quarterly conference call on October 29, 2026. The company will release its Annual Report 2026 on March 4, 2027. The original release can be viewed on www.newmediawire.com.
