Super Patch, a company specializing in drug-free wearable wellness technology, has announced an official partnership with Spartan Race for the 2026 SLO CAL Spartan Trifecta Weekend, scheduled for November 7-8 at Santa Margarita Ranch in California. The collaboration brings together two organizations that emphasize challenging limits and embracing innovation, aiming to introduce Spartan athletes and spectators to Super Patch's wearable products.
As an Official Partner, Super Patch will showcase two of its products: the BOOST energy patch and the VICTORY athletic performance patch. According to the company, the BOOST patch is designed to provide up to 24 hours of clean, drug-free energy without caffeine or stimulants, while the VICTORY patch is intended to support strength, power, and balance for up to 24 hours. Both products utilize Super Patch's proprietary Vibrotactile Technology (VTT), which uses tactile patterns to interact with sensory receptors in the skin without delivering active drug ingredients. These patches are positioned as complementary tools for athletes to incorporate into their training and competition routines.
The partnership also includes a significant financial commitment to elite athletes. Super Patch will award a total of $15,000 in cash prizes to the top five male and top five female elite finishers in each of the Sprint (5 km), Super (10 km), and Beast (21 km) races. This award structure recognizes the preparation and competitive spirit required to perform at the highest level, with individual prize amounts and eligibility details to be communicated through event organizers.
Jay Dhaliwal, CEO of Super Patch, commented on the partnership: "Athletes know that progress is built long before race day. We're excited to bring the BOOST energy patch and VICTORY athletic performance patch to the Spartan Race and DEKA communities and introduce a different way to think about energy and athletic performance. This partnership connects innovation with individuals striving to challenge themselves and explore their limits."
The SLO CAL Spartan Trifecta Weekend attracts athletes of various backgrounds and abilities to test themselves across rugged terrain and demanding obstacles. The shared philosophy of pushing boundaries is central to the collaboration. "We're excited to partner with Super Patch because we share a belief that people are capable of more than they think," said Joe De Sena, founder of Spartan Race. "Spartan is about challenging limits, and Super Patch is bringing a fresh approach to how athletes think about energy and performance. Together, we're creating new opportunities for our community to discover what's possible, both on the course and beyond it."
Beyond the race itself, Super Patch will engage with the Spartan community through on-site product discovery, sampling, and athlete-led content. Visitors to the Super Patch festival tent will have the chance to meet the team, experience the patches, and learn how the technology may fit into their broader training and wellness routines. While the SLO CAL event marks a key moment, the partnership is expected to extend beyond a single weekend, reflecting the idea that athletic achievement is built through consistent training and preparation.
