The Harvest Table, a South African wellness brand known for its clean-label products, will participate in the 2026 ECRM Vitamin, Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Session, scheduled for September 14-17 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The company aims to demonstrate its commitment to transparency and quality in a market crowded with complex formulations and bold marketing claims.
Founded by Catherine Clark, The Harvest Table emphasizes simplicity and honesty in product development. Clark noted, "The wellness category has become incredibly crowded, and consumers are being asked to navigate more products and more marketing messages than ever before. We believe the answer isn't necessarily more ingredients or more complicated formulations. It's creating quality products with purpose and being transparent about what's inside them."
The company's philosophy extends beyond marketing language, focusing on what is actually inside each product. For instance, its Grass Fed Bovine Collagen Granules provide Types I and III collagen sourced from grass-fed bovine, in a tasteless, instant-dissolving formulation free from gums, fillers, preservatives, artificial flavors, and dyes. Multi Collagen Radiance offers a blend of Types I, III, V, and X collagen with Vitamin C, Zinc, and Cranberry for those seeking a more comprehensive option. Vegan Protein caters to plant-based consumers, also free from additives.
Control over manufacturing is another key differentiator. The Harvest Table produces its items in-house at a custom-built facility in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. This facility passes annual Food Safety Assessment audits, meets GMP requirements, and is recognized as a Food Safe Facility, with Halal certification for applicable markets. CEO Sam Clark explained, "Quality isn't something we want to add to a marketing message after a product has been developed. It starts with the ingredients we choose, continues through how we formulate and manufacture the product, and ultimately shows up in what the consumer receives. Maintaining that control is an important part of who we are."
The company has already begun its U.S. expansion with its initial product range available on Amazon, including Multi Collagen Radiance, Bovine Collagen Granules, and Vegan Protein. Participation in ECRM will allow The Harvest Table to introduce its products and philosophy to the U.S. retail community, sharing the story of a family-run company that has grown without compromising its principles.
Clark believes the market is ready for a simpler approach: "We don't believe consumers need more noise. They need products they can understand and brands they can trust. That's the approach that built The Harvest Table in South Africa, and it's the same approach we're bringing to the United States."
