Türkiye's trade corridors are experiencing a surge in freight activity, with three key routes linking the country to Europe, Central Asia, and the Gulf. A corridor reactivated through Syria in 2025 has already facilitated over 5,000 TIR carnet shipments, some reaching Riyadh from Gaziantep in just 3.9 days, according to the International Road Transport Union (IRU). TradeInt's analysis of 2025 trade data shows Türkiye's exports reached $269.7 billion, including a record monthly high of $22.6 billion in September. IRU President Radu Dinescu attributed this shift to global supply chain pressures, stating, "Geopolitical tensions and disruptions to traditional supply chains are increasing demand for faster, more flexible, more resilient and more predictable transport alternatives."
In response to these dynamics, TradeInt is collaborating with Türkiye's Ministry of Trade to offer a grant to local consulting businesses. This grant provides advisors with funded access to comprehensive trade data, including shipment records, customs filings, and Bill of Lading information spanning more than 200 countries. The initiative aims to equip Turkish consultants with verifiable trade evidence to better serve exporters and importers.
With this access, consulting firms can verify whether a prospective buyer is actively importing a client's product, check a supplier's export history, track competitors' shipment activities in target markets, or build market-entry cases based on current data rather than outdated directories. These capabilities address routine client questions that static databases cannot answer.
