The company is celebrating its 20th anniversary this September with a team of 17 employees and a portfolio of approximately 8,500 completed projects. "Trussell's has always been more than a business to us. It's been a huge part of our family's life for the past 20 years. Our kids basically grew up in this business. A lot of our employees have been with us so long they feel like family at this point, and honestly, plenty of our customers have turned into friends too. That's what makes reaching 20 years so special," Danny Trussell said.
The milestone reflects steady expansion. The company opened in 2006 focused primarily on remodeling. In 2008, it launched its own granite fabrication shop, bringing stonework in house instead of outsourcing it. Danny and Christy Trussell currently own the company. Trussell's Transformations holds a New Mexico GB-98 general contractor's license and is a member of both the Home Builders Association of Central New Mexico and the Natural Stone Institute, credentials that reflect two decades of standing behind the work.
