Western Star Resources Unveils Updated Investor Presentation Outlining U.S. Tungsten Strategy and Path to Drilling

Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) (FRA: 4K2) has released an updated investor presentation that consolidates its expanding U.S. tungsten portfolio and outlines a strategic path toward drilling and potential NI 43-101 mineral resource definition. The presentation, now available on the company’s website at www.westernstarresources.com, marks a significant transformation from acquiring historical assets to generating modern exploration data across three past-producing tungsten projects in Nevada and New Mexico.

The cornerstone of the company’s strategy is the Eagle Point Tungsten Project in New Mexico, which features eight historically mapped skarn bodies along approximately 1,500–2,000 feet of prospective granite-limestone contact. Historical production during 1943–44 shipped around 1,800 tons of scheelite-bearing material to the U.S. Government stockpile, with surface sampling by the USGS and New Mexico Bureau of Geology returning grades as high as 27.6% WO(3) and 0.98% Mo (sample LH705). The project also attracted federal interest in 1955 when the U.S. Government recommended a Defense Minerals Exploration Administration contract that would have funded 75% of exploration, though the program was never executed. Western Star now aims to apply modern exploration techniques to test the system and potentially support a maiden resource estimate under NI 43-101.

In Nevada, the company has consolidated its Jarbidge–Charleston footprint with the Rowland and White Star projects. At Rowland, 2026 exploration returned selected rock, float, and channel results up to 4.02% WO(3) (sample RO-16-01), while soil geochemistry and UAV magnetics have defined a one-kilometre geochemical corridor with Central and Rowland Main as principal target areas. At White Star, a selective rock sample (WS-16-02) returned 3.00% WO(3) and 711 ppm Mo, and high-resolution UAV magnetic surveys have identified multiple interpreted target zones. The company has initiated drill permitting with a USFS Plan of Operations to cover the consolidated district, which spans more than six kilometres of prospective tungsten-bearing horizons.

The presentation also highlights Western Star’s disciplined approach to target generation, integrating geophysics, geochemistry, and mapping to prioritize drill testing. In British Columbia, the company maintains its 100%-owned Western Star Property, which is permitted for drilling and hosts twelve documented MINFILE mineral occurrences, providing additional exposure to gold, silver, copper, lead, and zinc.

Blake Morgan, President and CEO, emphasized the strategic importance of the U.S. tungsten portfolio: “We have assembled three past-producing tungsten projects and are no longer simply talking about historical potential. At Rowland and White Star, we have generated modern geophysics, geochemistry, and certified laboratory results. At Eagle Point, we are working toward systematically testing a tungsten system that attracted significant U.S. Government attention historically, but where the principal government-backed drilling program was never completed.”

The company is also exploring non-dilutive funding opportunities, having submitted an application to a U.S. Defense Industrial Base Consortium solicitation for strategic critical minerals. However, there is no assurance of qualification or award.

With tungsten’s critical role in defense, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing, Western Star’s progress comes amid growing U.S. policy focus on securing domestic supply chains. The company’s updated presentation demonstrates a clear pathway from historical data to modern exploration, with the potential to define compliant mineral resources and contribute to domestic tungsten supply security.
