Windes, a premier California accounting and advisory firm, has announced the appointment of Jenny Rong as a Partner in its Tax Department. Rong brings over 14 years of sophisticated tax expertise, having previously served as a tax director at a Big 4 accounting firm.
With a comprehensive background in federal and state income tax compliance, Rong specializes in navigating complex tax scenarios for passthrough entities, international corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals. Her professional portfolio spans critical sectors including real estate, private equity, hospitality, professional services, manufacturing, transportation, SaaS, and wholesale/retail industries.
Rong's professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Hunter College and a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California. She is a Certified Public Accountant and active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Beyond her technical expertise, Rong offers multilingual capabilities, being fluent in English, Mandarin, and Shanghainese, with additional understanding of Cantonese. Her specialized skills include reviewing trust documents, advising on domestic and cross-border trust and estate planning, and ensuring trust, gift, and foundation tax compliance.
