Giant Mining Corp. has enhanced its technical expertise by appointing Jeff Bickel to its Technical Advisory Board. Bickel, a senior geologist with extensive experience in copper deposit exploration and development, brings critical skills in resource estimation, geological modeling, and in situ recovery (ISR) mining techniques.
Currently managing the Geology Services team at RESPEC Company LLC, Bickel specializes in resource estimates and exploration planning for base and precious metals. His multidisciplinary approach integrates geology, hydrogeology, metallurgy, environmental studies, and operational data management, positioning him as a strategic asset for the mining company.
The appointment comes as Giant Mining focuses on advancing its Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold Deposit in Nevada, a project aligned with growing global demand for critical metals driven by green energy initiatives. With 5,914,500 tradeable warrants still outstanding and over $3 million recently raised from warrant exercises, the company is well-positioned to leverage Bickel's expertise in expanding its mineral assets.
Bickel's background, which includes a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from Arizona State University, complements Giant Mining's goal of supporting the United States' efforts to reduce reliance on foreign strategic resources. His technical acumen is expected to accelerate the company's exploration and development strategies in the copper mining sector.
