Zonte Metals Discovers Large Gravity Anomaly in Newfoundland Copper Project

Zonte Metals has uncovered a substantial gravity anomaly at its Nine Mile target within the Cross Hills Copper Project, signaling potential for significant copper mineralization. The newly discovered anomaly spans up to 3,700 meters in length and 3,100 meters in width, extending over 900 meters deep.

The gravity survey revealed complex structural characteristics that could enhance mineral potential. Located within a flexure of the Cross Hills fault system, the anomaly sits in a strategic geological zone that may have facilitated mineralizing fluid pathways. Surface indications, including copper-in-rocks and copper-in-soil anomalies, further support the exploration potential.

Detailed 3D inversion processing highlighted two primary target areas. The northern target measures 2,100 meters in length and sits within an east-west structural zone, partially surrounded by a strong magnetic anomaly. The southern target extends up to 1,900 meters in length and remains open along its southern strike and to depth.

Terry Christopher, President and CEO, emphasized the significance of this discovery as the company's fifth large-scale gravity anomaly. The spatial relationship with previous K6 copper-bearing drill holes suggests a potentially fertile copper system, making this area a prime focus for future exploration.

Zonte Metals plans to conduct additional sampling and mapping across the newly defined target area, positioning the project for potential future drilling activities as geological conditions permit.
