A middle school drone soccer team from Colorado SKIES Academy (CSA) has made significant waves in the competitive drone soccer landscape, securing a first-place victory at the Drone Soccer World Cup and establishing themselves as emerging leaders in aviation technology.
At the Drone Soccer World Cup during the Sun N' Fun Aerospace Expo in Lakeland, Florida, CSA TopDrone emerged as the sole middle school team among competitors, ultimately claiming the tournament's top prize. This achievement followed their impressive third-place finish at the Drone Soccer Rocky Mountain Regional Championships.
The team's success extends beyond competition results. CSA TopDrone members demonstrated leadership by mentoring peers, sharing technical insights, and elevating the overall competitive experience.
