Award-winning production designer Hojin Lee has been selected to lead the visual design for Largo Legend's upcoming psychological horror film 'Answer the Question', a project that promises to explore supernatural terror through meticulously crafted environments.
Lee, known for her work on award-winning horror films like 'The Monkey's Paw', will be responsible for transforming a historic inn into a haunting backdrop for the film's narrative. The story follows four university students documenting their stay at a psychic's bed and breakfast, where they become trapped in a deadly supernatural game.
Her design approach will focus on creating an immersive world where fear is constructed through spatial design and texture. Lee will collaborate closely with special effects and stunt departments to integrate horror elements seamlessly into the set, ensuring that every visual component contributes to the film's escalating tension.
Producer Kakia M. Amarh highlighted Lee's selection, noting her unique ability to make every set element contribute to the story's narrative tension. The film's production is scheduled to begin pre-production in January 2026, with principal photography planned from May to July of the same year.
Lee's involvement signals Largo Legend's commitment to delivering sophisticated, visually compelling horror experiences that go beyond traditional genre expectations. Her expertise in crafting emotionally charged spaces will be crucial in realizing the film's gothic, antique horror aesthetic inspired by New England's haunted inn traditions and early 20th-century spiritualist movements.
