The Colorado Rural Health Center (CRHC) has honored 10 rural healthcare facilities for their exceptional performance and commitment to community health. During the first annual Colorado Rural Healthcare Conference, five hospitals and five clinics received the Top 10 Rural Healthcare Facility for Overall Performance Award.
CRHC's CEO Michelle Mills emphasized the critical role of local hospitals and clinics in rural healthcare delivery systems. The awards recognize facilities that demonstrate excellence in quality improvement, innovation, and community service. Hospital awards were determined by the Chartis Group, a leading rural healthcare analytics firm.
The awarded hospitals include Rio Grande Hospital in Del Norte, Mt. San Rafael Hospital in Trinidad, Aspen Valley Hospital in Aspen, East Morgan County Hospital in Fort Morgan, and Pioneers Medical Center in Meeker. Recognized clinics are Family Practice of Holyoke, Grand River Health, Basin Clinic, Spanish Peaks Family Health, and Walsh Medical Center.
