Canada One Mining Corp. has received a five-year exploration drilling permit from the British Columbia Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals for its Copper Dome Project, marking a significant milestone in the company's resource exploration strategy. The permit will enable comprehensive exploration of the project located near Princeton, British Columbia.
CEO and President Peter Berdusco highlighted the importance of the permit, which allows the company to fully explore the project through potential discovery. The company's immediate focus will be on the newly identified Boundary Zone discovered in 2023, with plans to prioritize specific exploration targets during the 2025 field season.
Historical drilling results from the Friday Creek and Combination Creek Zones have already shown promising copper and gold intercepts, suggesting potential economic mineralization. The project's strategic location, situated 1.5 kilometers from Hudbay Mineral's Copper Mountain Mine deposits, further enhances its geological potential.
The exploration permit represents a critical step for Canada One Mining, positioning the company to leverage geological, geochemical, geophysical, and structural data in identifying and developing valuable mineral resources. This advancement could contribute to meeting growing global demand for critical metals while potentially generating significant value for investors.
