Act Bar, a purpose-driven protein bar company, has secured placement in Sprouts Farmers Market stores across Colorado and New Mexico, marking a significant milestone in the brand's mission to create sustainable and impactful snack options.
The brand distinguishes itself through innovative production methods, crafting protein bars using upcycled grains that reduce food waste and conserve water. Each bar production saves approximately three gallons of water, while simultaneously delivering 12 grams of plant-based protein.
Beyond environmental sustainability, Act Bar has integrated a social impact component by partnering with Brighter Bites, a nonprofit organization. For every bar purchased, the company donates half a pound of fresh produce to communities in need, addressing nutritional challenges and supporting food security.
Founder Amelia Allen emphasized the company's broader vision, stating that Act Bar aims to redefine the snack industry by demonstrating how food products can simultaneously satisfy consumer nutritional needs and contribute to meaningful social and environmental change.
The launch in Sprouts' Innovation Program represents a strategic partnership that aligns with the grocery chain's commitment to supporting innovative, health-conscious brands. Consumers can find Act Bars in select Sprouts locations in Colorado and New Mexico, offering a tangible example of how businesses can integrate sustainability and community support into their core operational model.
