Energy Fuels Inc. (NYSE American: UUUU) (TSX: EFR) has announced a record-breaking production of 258,745 pounds of U₃O₈ in May from its Pinyon Plain mine in Arizona, marking a 71% increase from April. This achievement underscores the company's pivotal role in the U.S. uranium sector, a critical component of the nation's energy security and carbon-free nuclear energy production.
In addition to its production milestone, Energy Fuels has filed an updated Technical Report for its Bullfrog Project in Utah, revealing a 15% increase in Indicated and a 70% increase in Inferred uranium resources. The report also outlines project economics for the first time, projecting a 15-year mine life. These developments are timely, as the company accelerates permitting for its Roca Honda project in New Mexico, now included on the federal FAST-41 dashboard, and resumes operations at its EZ Complex in Arizona.
