Texas Mineral Resources Corp. (TMRC) has shared preliminary results from its exploratory drilling efforts in the Black Hawk Mining District, Grant County, New Mexico, under a mineral exploration and option agreement with Santa Fe Gold Corporation. The drilling, which totaled 20 diamond drill holes aggregating 2751.5 feet at the historic Alhambra mine, aimed to test the validity of the Electro-Magnetic survey method for locating veins and to assess the remaining ore within the Alhambra vein's upper workings.

Of the eleven holes drilled to test Electro-Magnetic anomalies, ten intersected strongly altered carbonate veins at or near the expected depth, indicating the success of the NANOTEM method, adapted by Zonge International for this project. This method, originally designed to locate shallow metallic features, has proven effective in identifying sulfide bearing veins in the district, though it does not distinguish between native silver and sulfide bearing veins.

The drilling, conducted from March to May 2025, also targeted the Alhambra vein itself, with seven out of eleven holes intersecting strongly brecciated, carbonate veins between stopes. The ongoing logging and analysis of the drill core, stored at a secure site, will provide further insights into the geologic-geochemistry characteristics of these veins. Daniel Gorski, CEO of TMRC, expressed encouragement over the NANOTEM method's success, highlighting its potential for the project's future exploration and development.

The Black Hawk Mining District is known for its 'Five Element Veins,' with the Alhambra mine featuring carbonate filled structures that include a central high grade core. TMRC has acknowledged the assistance of the New Mexico Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources in the logging, sample preparation, and analysis of the drill core. The company plans to proceed with the next phase of work upon completing the necessary data evaluation, with the potential for a joint venture agreement with Santa Fe contingent on the exploration's success and the completion of a bankable feasibility study.
