The Shincheonji Church of Jesus Taekwondo Team has once again demonstrated their prowess in the martial arts by securing a total of 25 medals at the '2025 Park Chung-hee Cup International Open Taekwondo Competition'. Held at the Sangju Indoor Gymnasium in Gyeongbuk, this prestigious event saw participation from approximately 4,200 athletes across 18 countries, including Korea, the United States, and France. The Shincheonji team's remarkable achievement of 4 gold, 7 silver, and 14 bronze medals in the official poomsae individual competition underscores their dedication and skill, despite a limited preparation period.
This competition not only highlighted the team's technical excellence but also served as a platform to enhance the cultural and diplomatic stature of the Republic of Korea.
