MEDICLIN achieved 5.1% sales growth to EUR 586.9 million through segment optimization while maintaining stable 86.8% capacity utilization across operations.

MEDICLIN's improved financial results support continued healthcare delivery across 31 clinics and 6 care facilities, enhancing patient care for communities.

MEDICLIN transformed its acute segment from a EUR 3.8 million loss to EUR 0.7 million profit while growing post-acute sales by 9.3%.

MEDICLIN Aktiengesellschaft reported consolidated group sales of EUR 586.9 million for the first nine months of 2025, representing a 5.1% increase compared to the same period last year. The German healthcare provider achieved a group operating result of EUR 48.9 million, significantly higher than the EUR 34.5 million recorded in the first nine months of 2024. Overall capacity utilization within the Group remained stable at 86.8%, demonstrating consistent demand for MEDICLIN's healthcare services across its network of facilities.

The post-acute segment showed particularly strong performance, with sales increasing by 9.3% to EUR 394.6 million. Segment operating result in this division rose by EUR 9.6 million to EUR 47.6 million, while the cost of materials ratio improved by 0.9 percentage points to 19.5%. Personnel expenses in the post-acute segment increased by 9.4% to EUR 205.0 million, primarily due to salary increases and higher employee numbers, though the personnel expense ratio remained unchanged at 51.9%.

Developments in the acute segment were significantly influenced by the sale of the former MEDICLIN Herzzentrum Coswig. Despite a 3.2% decrease in segment sales, the acute segment's operating result improved dramatically by 117.2% to EUR 0.7 million, reversing from a loss position in the previous year. The cost of materials in this segment fell by 4.8% to EUR 47.6 million, while personnel expenses decreased by 4.8% to EUR 101.0 million. The personnel expense ratio in the acute segment improved to 59.4%, one percentage point below the previous year's level.

The nursing care segment reported sales of EUR 18.6 million but recorded an operating loss of EUR 0.4 million, representing a decline of EUR 0.5 million compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, the service segment showed positive development with sales increasing to EUR 74.8 million and segment operating result improving by EUR 0.8 million to EUR 1.0 million.

The Management Board confirmed its guidance for the full 2025 financial year, expecting consolidated group sales growth between 2.0% and 5.0% and consolidated group EBIT between EUR 53.0 million and EUR 64.0 million. Tino Fritz, CFO of MEDICLIN, commented that the company continues to assess business development as solid despite current market conditions and typical seasonal effects in the fourth quarter. The interim report as of 30 September 2025 is available in German and English at https://www.mediclin.de.

MEDICLIN's performance reflects the ongoing demand for specialized healthcare services in Germany and demonstrates the company's ability to maintain operational efficiency while expanding its service offerings. The significant improvement in operating results across multiple segments indicates effective cost management and strategic positioning within the competitive healthcare market. These results provide important insights for investors and industry observers tracking the performance of healthcare providers in the European market, particularly as healthcare systems continue to face challenges related to staffing, regulatory requirements, and evolving patient needs.
