Convesio Integrates Cloudflare AI Bot Blocking to Protect WordPress and Ecommerce Sites

Convesio has launched new AI bot-control functionality powered by Cloudflare, providing customers with straightforward tools to manage how automated crawlers interact with their WordPress and WooCommerce websites. The integration leverages recently introduced Cloudflare capabilities and brings them directly into the Convesio platform, eliminating the need for technical configuration or API work.

Cloudflare has been rolling out new options for identifying and managing AI-driven bots and crawlers, and Convesio's integration makes these controls immediately available to its customers. This provides a practical approach to limiting unwanted content consumption, reducing unnecessary traffic, and protecting overall site performance. Automated AI crawlers are increasingly scanning websites to collect content for training models or generating responses, and while this traffic isn't always harmful, many site owners prefer to limit or fully prevent AI bots from accessing their content.

The new feature uses Cloudflare's recently introduced detection signal that classifies certain automated crawlers as AI bots. Convesio customers can now easily block all AI-classified bots using Cloudflare's detection criteria or allow them, with the latter being the default setting. There are no configuration steps, rules, or custom logic required—the setting appears as a single toggle within the Convesio platform, making it simple for users to adopt Cloudflare's newest bot-control capability without needing to manage Cloudflare directly.

This release represents part of a broader initiative to give Convesio customers easier access to Cloudflare Enterprise tools that typically require custom engineering or advanced configuration.
