NOCO Distillery is advancing modern American craft distilling through a combination of international market expansion and the release of innovative ultra-high-proof spirits, including expressions that may rank among the strongest ever produced. The Colorado-based distillery, which experienced its most successful year to date in 2025, is now expanding distribution into Wisconsin while launching internationally in Hong Kong and Switzerland, with additional global markets currently in development.
The distillery's latest releases showcase a commitment to pushing technical boundaries while maintaining balance and complexity. Among the new offerings is Bourbon 4x – Second Edition, a four-times-distilled bourbon aged in a four-year seasoned oak barrel and bottled at cask strength, 64.65% ABV. Despite its high alcohol content, this expression demonstrates remarkable balance with notes of caramelized brown sugar, vanilla, and orange peel, while clove-and-cocoa depth carries into a long finish touched by espresso and chocolate-covered orange.
Perhaps most notably, NOCO has released a Port Barrel Finished Grape Brandy bottled at 73.9% ABV, qualifying as HAZMAT and potentially ranking among the highest-ABV brandy releases ever produced. This achievement represents a significant technical milestone in craft distilling, demonstrating the distillery's ability to create complex flavors at extreme proof levels. Additionally, the distillery introduced its first HAZMAT agave spirit, TOKILYA – Don Sebastian, crafted from 100% Blue Agave, aged more than four years in new American oak barrels, and bottled at 72.5% ABV.
An upcoming release, "Sanguis Christi," continues this innovative approach with a high-rye bourbon finished in Ruby Port and Pedro Ximénez (PX) Sherry barrels and bottled at 64% ABV. All releases are offered as single barrel expressions and feature innovative barrel and multi-barrel finishing techniques, reflecting the hands-on approach the distillery applies across most of its portfolio, from distillation through aging and bottling.
"Innovation is key, and our master distiller is pushing the boundaries of craft distilling to a whole new level," said Josh Green, Distillery Manager at NOCO Distillery. The distillery produces more than 30 different spirits and distills the majority of its portfolio in-house, spanning whiskey, brandy, agave spirits, gin, liqueurs, and experimental releases. This expansion and innovation strategy positions NOCO Distillery at the forefront of the craft spirits movement, combining fearless experimentation with balance and craftsmanship while expanding its presence across domestic and international markets.
