The acquisition of four existing flexible workspaces in the Dallas-Fort Worth market by multi-unit franchise owners Kevin and Geidre Priddy represents a significant expansion for Venture X, a global provider of high-quality flexible workspaces. The Priddys, operating as Priddy Spaces, acquired the locations from Plano-based commercial landlord Michael Comegys, who sought experienced flex workspace operators to manage the properties. The spaces, formerly branded as CityCentral, are being converted to Venture X facilities, bringing the brand's signature amenities and hospitality-centric member experience to these markets.
Kevin Priddy explained the strategic rationale behind the expansion, noting that after operating in Florida for nearly four years, the couple sought to enter other high-growth markets like Dallas-Fort Worth. The locations were selected based on strong demographics and the opportunity to add value as dedicated flex workspace operators. With the evolution of hybrid work and corporate real estate strategies in recent years, flexible office space has become increasingly valuable to commercial landlords. Venture X already maintains a presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and this expansion brings additional solutions to local businesses and professionals.
The four converted locations include Venture X Downtown Fort Worth at 600 W. 6th St., Suite 400, Fort Worth, TX 76102, featuring 22,530 square feet with 74 offices. Venture X Plano West at 6010 W. Spring Creek, Plano, TX 75024 offers 36,000 square feet with 103 offices. Venture X Plano East at 500 N. Central Expressway, Suite 500, Plano, TX 75074 provides 26,592 square feet with 92 offices. Venture X Dallas-Addison at 17250 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, TX 75248 encompasses approximately 40,000 square feet with 78 offices. These additions bring Venture X's total Dallas-Fort Worth presence to over a dozen locations, offering flexible, sophisticated, and modern workspaces for professionals and businesses of all sizes.
Venture X operates as part of Vast Coworking Group, the largest privately owned franchisor of coworking spaces and second-largest network in North America by number of locations. Vast President Jason Anderson praised the Priddys as outstanding franchise owners who exemplify high-level operation within the system. Their disciplined growth, operational excellence, and ability to identify strong opportunities in key markets like Dallas-Fort Worth demonstrate both their leadership and the scalability of the Venture X brand.
The Priddys began developing their coworking portfolio with the acquisition of a Venture X location in West Palm Beach, Florida in 2022 and have since grown it to seven total Venture X and one Office Evolution location open and operating, with several more in active development. In addition to their Dallas-Fort Worth expansion, they are actively developing other Venture X and Office Evolution locations in new and existing markets, including South and Central Florida and Metro Atlanta. This continued growth reflects broader trends in the flexible workspace industry as businesses and professionals increasingly seek adaptable office solutions in the post-pandemic work environment.
