Andina Copper Confirms New Porphyry Copper System at Piuquenes North

Andina Copper Corp. has announced the discovery of a new porphyry copper system at its Piuquenes North target in San Juan Province, Argentina. Diamond drill holes PIU12 and PIU13, the first two holes testing a large deep-seated low resistivity Magnetotelluric (MT) geophysical anomaly, confirmed the presence of copper sulphide mineralization within a newly identified intrusive complex. The company reported that both holes intersected multiple intrusive phases associated with porphyry-style copper sulphide mineralization.

Hole PIU13, drilled to a depth of 1,235 meters, intersected four porphyry intrusive phases. The strongest visible copper sulphide mineralization was observed between 848 and 1,045 meters downhole, hosted within an early mineral porphyry phase. Copper sulphide minerals, including chalcopyrite and bornite, were logged throughout this interval, occurring within quartz veins and as disseminations associated with potassic alteration. Hole PIU12, completed to 992.6 meters, confirmed the lateral extent of the system, intersecting andesitic host rocks intruded by pre-mineral porphyry dykes containing chalcopyrite and minor bornite mineralization.

Joseph van den Elsen, President and CEO of Andina Copper, stated: "During the 2025/26 San Juan field season we continued to define and expand the recently discovered Piuquenes East copper-gold porphyry centre, while also testing a compelling undrilled MT geophysical target at Piuquenes North. Both drill holes completed at Piuquenes North intersected a multiphase porphyry copper system, with the MT anomaly remaining open to the north and at depth." He added that confirmation of a third mineralized porphyry system marks an important milestone and demonstrates significant exploration potential.

The MT anomaly at Piuquenes North measures approximately 800 meters by 700 meters. The company believes the elevated sulphide content observed in drilling is a significant contributing factor to the conductive low-resistivity response. The anomaly remains open to the north and at depth, requiring additional drilling to further evaluate the system. During the off-season, the company plans to undertake laboratory resistivity and chargeability measurements on representative core samples to refine geophysical interpretation.

Assay results for both holes are pending. Upon receipt, the company will integrate assay results with geological logging into an updated geological model for Piuquenes North. This integrated dataset will be used to refine targeting for follow-up drilling, focusing on down-dip and along-strike extensions of the newly intersected porphyry system.

The Piuquenes property is part of Andina Copper's 2,500-hectare land package in San Juan Province. The company is also advancing the Cobrasco Project in Colombia. Andina Copper is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, Frankfurt, and OTC markets. The company's Corporate Presentation is available at Andina Copper Corporate Presentation.

Gustavo Zulliger, a consultant of Andina Copper and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical information in this release. All technical information is based on visual logging of drill core, and assay results remain pending.
