David Ebrahimzadeh Launches Real Estate Grant for Undergraduates Nationwide

Undergraduate students interested in real estate and related fields now have a new opportunity to explore the forces shaping the industry's future. The David Ebrahimzadeh Grant for Real Estate has announced a call for original essays that examine innovation, investment, development, technology, sustainability, and other trends influencing the modern real estate landscape. The grant is open to undergraduate students currently enrolled at accredited colleges or universities across the United States, not limited to any particular state or region.

Applicants must submit an original essay of 750 to 1,000 words responding to the prompt: "Industrial real estate continues to evolve alongside advancements in technology, infrastructure, manufacturing, logistics, and sustainability. In 750–1,000 words, discuss one innovation or emerging trend that you believe will have the greatest impact on the future of the real estate industry." The essay should explain how the chosen development could reshape the real estate industry and address the applicant's anticipated contribution to its future through a prospective career.

Essays will be evaluated on originality, clarity, critical thinking, organization, and the applicant's vision for the future of real estate. Eligible students must demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in real estate or a closely related field and comply with all application requirements set by the grant committee. Applications must include the student's full name, contact information, current college or university, field of study, proof of undergraduate enrollment, and the original essay. All materials must be submitted electronically in PDF or Microsoft Word format before the deadline of April 15, 2027. The selected recipient will be announced on May 15, 2027, and will receive a one-time award to support their educational journey and continued development as a future real estate professional.

The grant is backed by David Ebrahimzadeh, an entrepreneur, investor, and business leader with experience spanning private equity, industrial real estate, and innovation. As Founder and President of Corniche Capital, Ebrahimzadeh oversees investments, development initiatives, tenant relationships, and strategic acquisitions connected to a national industrial real estate portfolio. His background also includes venture capital investments and technology innovation, with patented technologies and published work involving intellectual property. This professional experience informs the grant's focus on innovation, strategic thinking, and the evolving needs of the real estate industry.

For students, the grant offers more than financial support; it provides a platform to engage with critical questions about how properties are financed, developed, operated, occupied, and integrated into growing communities. By encouraging diverse academic backgrounds to consider technological, economic, infrastructure, and sustainability developments, the program aims to cultivate informed perspectives that could influence the next phase of real estate. The opportunity is a one-time educational award rather than an annual program, making this cycle a unique chance for undergraduates to contribute to the conversation on real estate's future. Additional information about eligibility and submission requirements is available at David Ebrahimzadeh Grant for Real Estate.
