BEAVERCREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Fifty5 Rivers, the Ohio-based beverage and hospitality company, is marking its sixth anniversary with the announcement of its most significant expansion to date: the opening of Fifty5 Rivers Cafe this fall. The new cafe will be located inside the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Business Success Center, offering a welcoming space for both the public and the regional business community.
Founded in 2020 by James and Lynne Mowery, Fifty5 Rivers has grown from a simple belief that exceptional handcrafted beverages can bring people together into a family of experiences serving patrons throughout the Miami Valley. The company's RIVER values — Reliability, Inspiration, Value, Education, and Respect — have guided its growth and expansion into manufacturing, grab-and-go service, mobile hospitality, and wholesale operations.
The new Fifty5 Rivers Cafe represents the next evolution of the Fifty5 Rivers experience. Patrons will find a gathering place where the company's signature beverage lineup, delicious food offerings, and genuine hospitality come together in a comfortable space designed for conversation, collaboration, and community. Whether stopping in before work, enjoying lunch with colleagues, catching up with friends, or simply taking a break during the day, the cafe aims to provide an inviting environment that encourages meaningful connections.
James and Lynne Mowery, co-founders, said in a statement: "When we founded Fifty5 Rivers six years ago, we set out with a simple vision: to create exceptional handcrafted beverages while building meaningful connections within our community. We could never have imagined how many incredible people would become part of that journey. Opening Fifty5 Rivers Cafe inside the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Business Success Center is more than an expansion. It is the creation of a place where those connections can continue to grow."
The company's existing operations include Fifty5 Rivers Cold Brew, its production facility in Fairborn; Conflooence by Fifty5 Rivers, a grab-and-go coffee shop located inside that facility; and the Fifty5 Rivers BARge, a premium mobile beverage experience serving festivals, corporate events, weddings, private celebrations, and community gatherings. The new cafe builds upon this foundation by creating the company's first hospitality concept designed around an expanded dine-in experience.
The choice of the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Business Success Center was deliberate, reflecting Fifty5 Rivers' belief that businesses can strengthen communities by creating meaningful experiences, investing in relationships, encouraging learning, and serving others with integrity and respect. Those principles align closely with the Chamber's vision for entrepreneurship, collaboration, professional development, innovation, and economic growth.
Wendy Rodgers, President & CEO of the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce, said: "Fifty5 Rivers embodies the innovative and community-focused spirit we envisioned becoming part of the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Business Success Center. Their commitment to quality, hospitality, education, and meaningful relationships aligns beautifully with our mission to create an environment where businesses and people can thrive together."
Construction and final preparations are underway, with the cafe expected to welcome patrons this fall. Additional information regarding the grand opening celebration, operating hours, and opening events will be announced in the coming months. The new cafe complements the company's existing operations, which will continue serving patrons throughout the region.
The Fifty5 Rivers story began with a mountain biking trip in Virginia, where James first discovered cold brew coffee, sparking a passion for exceptional handcrafted beverages that the couple has grown into a family of experiences. As the company celebrates six years of innovation and community impact, it looks forward to continuing its mission of crafting exceptional beverages while creating places and experiences where meaningful connections flourish.
