Pieri was selected for her compassionate care of Zeke, a rescue dog described as having green eyes. She took over fostering Zeke when her friend, his original foster parent, became ill. She is also active in pageants and advocates for breast cancer research, and volunteers with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Her professional experience includes a summer 2026 internship as a Receivable Intern at SBA Communications, and she plans to join CohnReznick as a Tax Intern in 2027.
After graduation, Pieri intends to pursue a Master's degree and sit for the CPA exam, aiming to become a Certified Public Accountant specializing in tax and public accounting. The $2,000 scholarship from Blakeley will support her upcoming academic semester.
