Immigration Attorney Amin R. Yacoub Named One of ABA's 2026 Top 40 Young Lawyers

Bogin, Munns & Munns, P.A. announced that Amin R. Yacoub, an immigration attorney with the firm, has been named a recipient of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division's 2026 On the Rise — Top 40 Young Lawyers Award. The national award recognizes 40 ABA young lawyer members who demonstrate exceptional achievement, innovation, leadership and service to the legal profession and their communities.

Yacoub was selected for his accomplishments as a business immigration attorney, legal scholar and advocate for individuals and businesses navigating the United States immigration system. Based in Orlando, he represents clients nationwide in employment-based immigration matters, with a particular focus on EB-2 National Interest Waiver and EB-1 Extraordinary Ability petitions.

Yacoub brings a unique perspective to his work, having personally obtained permanent residency through the National Interest Waiver process. This firsthand experience informs his understanding of what is at stake for the professionals, entrepreneurs, physicians, scientists, engineers, researchers and investors he represents.

"Immigration cases are rarely just paperwork. They decide where someone builds a career, raises a family and contributes their work," said Yacoub. "I went through the National Interest Waiver process myself, so I know what my clients are carrying while they wait. This recognition belongs as much to them as it does to me."

Spencer Munns, President at Bogin, Munns & Munns, praised Yacoub's achievement. "This national recognition reflects Amin's commitment to excellence, innovation and service. His knowledge of immigration law, thoughtful approach to advocacy and dedication to his clients make him an important member of our firm and a deserving recipient of this honor."

Yacoub is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and multiple federal courts. His professional work extends beyond client representation; he is also an accomplished legal scholar whose published work has been cited by courts and scholars in the United States and internationally. He earned a Master of Laws in International Law from New York University School of Law, where he received a full-tuition scholarship and served as a graduate editor of the NYU Journal of International Law and Politics.

The ABA Young Lawyers Division announced its 2026 class of On the Rise — Top 40 Young Lawyers honorees on June 30, 2026. This recognition highlights the importance of immigration law in today's global economy, where skilled professionals and entrepreneurs often seek to contribute to the U.S. workforce. Yacoub's expertise in EB-1 and EB-2 categories is particularly relevant as businesses and individuals navigate complex immigration regulations.
