LOS ANGELES – JoySauce, the lifestyle and entertainment company dedicated to “American Asians” and Asian pop culture, announced that its streaming network, JoySauce TV, officially launched on Roku Channel on June 30, 2026. This expansion makes JoySauce TV the most widely distributed TV network for AAPI stories, culture, and Asian pop culture entertainment, according to the company.
The Roku launch follows recent distribution deals on Amazon Prime Video and Plex, and gives JoySauce access to more than 100 million households across North America. It is the first AAPI-focused channel to be added on Roku. Viewers can now watch JoySauce TV for free on Roku, Amazon Prime Video, Plex, YouTube, JoySauce.TV, and mobile apps.
Founded in 2020 by tech entrepreneur Jonathan Ng Sposato, JoySauce aims to fill a long-standing gap in media representation while celebrating the creativity and cultural influence of American Asians. As global audiences increasingly embrace Asian content—from film and television to food, music, fashion, and gaming—JoySauce has carved out a unique niche dedicated to the American Asian experience, appealing to both AAPI and general market viewers.
The network’s growth has been rapid. Over the past year, JoySauce has expanded its distribution footprint, strengthened its position as a leading voice in American Asian entertainment, and added original programming. Notably, its original series “Jokes With JoySauce” has been submitted for Emmy® consideration in the Outstanding Short Form Comedy, Drama or Variety Series category.
JoySauce TV offers a growing library of original and acquired content, including scripted comedy, feature films, reality programming, documentaries, music, stand-up comedy, and community conversations. Highlights include “JoySauce Late Night,” the first-ever AAPI late-night talk show; “Jokes with JoySauce,” the first all-AAPI standup comedy review; “Team Tan,” following professional Chinese American race car driver Samantha Tan; live cultural moments, such as award shows and concerts; an Asian Cinema Showcase; cult classics; Asian game shows and variety series; and anime and tokusatsu programming.
The Roku launch is a strategic move to reach audiences on connected TVs, where streaming consumption is increasingly happening. “Five years ago, JoySauce started with a simple belief: American Asians deserve a much bigger stage,” said Jonathan Sposato, Founder and CEO of JoySauce. “Today, we’re building that big stage. Launching on Roku is another important step toward making Asian American stories available wherever audiences choose to watch.”
Brandon Ferguson, COO and CFO of JoySauce, emphasized the long-term vision: “Building a lasting media company isn’t just about distribution or audience growth. It’s about creating the platform that allows creators, communities, and great stories to thrive for years to come.”
Narumi Inatsugu, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, added: “The next chapter is ownership. Ownership of our stories. Ownership of our platforms. Ownership of the cultural conversations shaping how America sees itself.”
Jake Rubin, Co-founding Executive of Digital Networks at JoySauce TV, noted the gap in the market: “We recognized the glaring absence of the Asian Pacific American experience, coupled with the insatiable demand for Asian pop culture entertainment. Even in a 900+ channel universe, there were voids.”
JoySauce plans additional programming announcements, creator partnerships, and platform expansions throughout 2026. The network is available for free on Roku, Amazon Prime Video, Plex, YouTube, JoySauce.TV, and mobile apps.
