LOS ANGELES, CA — Kaufman & Company, the permanent capital holding company founded and led by Daniel Kaufman, has announced the full launch of its integrated platform, marked by the debut of its new website, thekaufmanco.com. The launch culminates over a year of consolidation efforts, uniting ten operating companies, a seven-company venture portfolio under Kaufman Ventures, and affiliated partnerships into a single cohesive structure spanning residential development, workforce housing, AI infrastructure, and venture capital.
“Our 2026 launch slate marks the full convergence of real estate and technology,” said Daniel Kaufman, Founder and Principal of Kaufman & Company. “We’ve spent the last year bringing every company we’ve built or backed under one platform so they can share capital, data, and execution discipline instead of operating in silos. This is the structure the work has been building toward.”
The new platform organizes the company’s operating businesses into a single structure for the first time, with a shared philosophy of strategic site selection, integrated design and construction execution, and underwriting discipline carried from acquisition through stabilization. The ten operating companies now presented under the Kaufman & Company platform include Convivium Living, DanReDev, DEK Builds, Design Build Affordable, DK Homes, Forge Development Partners, Kaufman Development, Kaufman Real Estate & Consulting, LoneStar Kaufman, and Kaufman Ventures. Collectively, the platform reports more than $2 billion in project value delivered, over 10,000 housing units developed, and more than 25 years of real estate experience.
Kaufman Ventures, the venture capital arm, is formally introduced with a portfolio of seven technology companies designed to serve the real estate industry. These include BridgeStar, Meridian, LandBriefing, SpreadSight, FoundCheck, ServerDomes, and Kaufman Development’s AI infrastructure initiatives. The venture strategy focuses on building tools that the platform’s own operating companies rely on first, then offering them to the broader real estate industry. The portfolio includes BridgeStar, an AI-powered partner portal; Meridian, a portfolio intelligence tool; LandBriefing, a land intelligence platform; SpreadSight, data analytics tooling; FoundCheck, a diligence tool; and ServerDomes, AI data center development.
The platform also affirmed its ongoing relationship with Oldivai, an independently led workforce housing partner that remains closely aligned with the Kaufman ecosystem without being one of the ten platform companies.
The consolidation involved integrating financial reporting, shared services, and go-to-market strategy across companies that previously operated with varying degrees of independence, while preserving each business's identity and leadership. The new website introduces a public-facing partner portal at BridgeStar.ai, giving borrowers, investors, and partners direct access to deal information across the platform. It also includes Media & Press and U.S. Real Estate Journal sections to consolidate the company’s growing media footprint.
“Every company on this platform still runs the way it always has, with its own team and its own market focus,” Kaufman added. “What changes is that we can now move capital, share underwriting discipline, and put technology like BridgeStar and Meridian to work across all of them at once. That is what this launch represents.”
This strategic move is significant for the real estate and venture capital industries, as it demonstrates a model of convergence where traditional real estate development and cutting-edge technology are merged under a single platform, potentially setting a precedent for operational efficiency and innovation. By integrating diverse companies and venture investments, Kaufman & Company aims to leverage data and shared resources to enhance execution across projects, from residential communities to AI infrastructure. This could impact the industry by showcasing how holding companies can streamline operations, share best practices, and deploy technology to improve outcomes in real estate development and investment.
