In a cultural moment when many listeners are actively searching for music that provides peace, spiritual encouragement, and a deeper connection to faith, a Renton, Washington-based ministry called Music For His Majesty is meeting that demand through the original compositions of singer, pianist, composer, and orchestrator Keith Johnson. The ministry was created to share worship music that is both musically rich and spiritually meaningful, featuring anointed melodies, warm baritone vocals, powerful piano, choir, and orchestral arrangements designed to elevate the heart and point listeners toward the love and glory of Jesus Christ.
Johnson's musical journey began early. A native Washingtonian, he showed a natural gift for piano at the age of seven and later studied concert piano and music theory at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. After becoming a Christian at 18, Johnson began writing songs for the Lord and went on to serve as a worship leader in multiple churches throughout his lifetime. Over the years, he has written hundreds of choruses, songs, and prophetic songs that have reached listeners across churches, Christian conventions, worship symposiums, radio broadcasts, and audiences in the United States, China, Canada, and England. "Humankind was created to worship God, and music can be a glorious vehicle for that worship," Johnson said through his ministry's message. His desire is for each song to touch the believer's heart and offer a glimpse into the glory, love, and presence of Jesus Christ.
Music For His Majesty currently features multiple worship albums available in CD and flash drive formats, including Fresh New Wave, Revival Rain, Closer to Jesus, Live & Raw, and To Jesus Alone: Choral Worship. Each project reflects a different expression of worship, from intimate devotional music to choral and orchestral arrangements created for praise, reflection, and spiritual renewal. The music is especially suited for Christian listeners, families, worship leaders, choir lovers, churches, and anyone seeking faith-based music for prayer, quiet time, encouragement, or personal worship. With a sound rooted in traditional Christian worship and enriched by classical training, Johnson's work offers a heartfelt alternative for listeners who value meaningful lyrics, reverent arrangements, and music created with ministry at its center.
The implications of this announcement extend beyond a single artist's catalog. As Christian listeners continue to seek music that strengthens faith and brings peace into everyday life, Music For His Majesty stands as a dedicated source of original worship music created with sincerity, devotion, and a clear purpose: to glorify Jesus Christ. For worship leaders and churches, the availability of these albums in physical formats offers a tangible resource for services and small groups. For families and individuals, the music provides a tool for personal devotion and spiritual renewal. The ministry is more than a music catalog; it is a continuation of Johnson's lifelong calling to write songs that honor the Lord. Together with his wife, Debbie, to whom he has been married for more than 50 years, Johnson has incorporated Music For His Majesty to make these worship songs available to a wider audience. "I pray every song draws people closer to Jesus Christ and reminds them of His love, grace, and presence through the gift of worship," Johnson said. In a time of widespread demand for authentic, faith-centered content, Music For His Majesty offers a distinct and enduring contribution to Christian worship music.
