Makailah Fuentes, a licensed cosmetologist and certified lash artist, has opened Maks Glamm, a new salon located within the Salon and Spa Galleria Weatherford in Weatherford, Texas. The salon officially began accepting appointments, marking Fuentes' transition from graduate to business owner after earning her credentials from Cisco College in May 2025.
Fuentes emphasizes creativity as the cornerstone of her business. "I love being creative and making people feel beautiful and confident," she said. "This truly is a creative outlet for me." Her services encompass hair, lashes, and nails, including shampoo, blowdry, haircut and style, color, highlights, balayage, toner, and root touchup. She also offers GelX nails, lash sets, and braiding services such as French and Dutch braids with optional beads or charms. Additional offerings include tinsel, feathers, and color extensions.
