The Lawson 3 well is being drilled approximately 2.2 kilometers east of Lawson 2 and 1.2 kilometers south of the original Lawson 1 discovery. Reaching a total depth of 2,440 meters, it recovered 120 meters of core, including a record 89.2 meters from the Precambrian basement complex for a single Saskatchewan well.
