Morad Shaker Launches Founder-Funded Shaker Foundation for American Service Heroes in Cheyenne, Wyoming

Philanthropist and entrepreneur Morad Shaker has announced the public launch of the Shaker Foundation for American Service Heroes, a Wyoming nonprofit corporation founded and entirely funded by Shaker. Headquartered in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the Foundation is dedicated to honoring, recognizing, and building future opportunities for America's military, veterans, first responders, public-safety personnel, government service communities, and their families. The Foundation has obtained its Employer Identification Number (42-3934033) and is active and in good standing as a Wyoming nonprofit corporation.

The launch fulfills a personal commitment Shaker made more than two decades ago. Over the years, he developed close relationships with military personnel and first responders, witnessing their discipline, loyalty, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting communities and country. That respect became the foundation for the organization now being introduced. "This vision stayed with me for more than two decades," said Shaker, Founder and President of the Foundation. "I gave it time, planning, thought, and purpose. Now, in 2026 and 2027, the dream is beginning to become real."

A defining feature of the Foundation is its founder-funded model. It will not solicit or accept donations from individuals, governments, political groups, religious groups, companies, organizations, or foreign entities. "This is not another nonprofit organization created to ask the public for money," Shaker said. "This Foundation is founder-funded. The plan is to serve—purely, independently, and with dignity. We are not seeking donations, government money, political support, religious funding, corporate sponsorship, or funding from any country or outside organization." The Foundation's work is intended to be sustained directly through Shaker's own resources and long-term planning.

The Foundation's mission is designed as a five-generation commitment, extending beyond current service members to include retirees, veterans, former first responders, and prior public-safety personnel. It emphasizes that service does not lose value over time. When opportunities are formally opened, current and former eligible service heroes will be able to seek consideration through a structured eligibility framework, subject to verification and program requirements.

Eligibility encompasses a broad range of service communities: active-duty, National Guard, Reserve, and retired military personnel from all six branches of the U.S. Armed Forces; honorably discharged, disabled, and combat veterans, as well as Gold Star Families; federal law enforcement personnel from agencies such as the FBI, DEA, ATF, Secret Service, U.S. Marshals Service, Diplomatic Security Service, and Federal Protective Service; homeland security personnel from Customs and Border Protection, Border Patrol, ICE, Homeland Security Investigations, TSA, and USCIS Field Operations; intelligence and national security professionals; state and local law enforcement, including state police, highway patrol, sheriffs, local police, corrections officers, and campus police; firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, search-and-rescue personnel, and other emergency responders; emergency services personnel; and the spouses, children, and surviving dependents of eligible service heroes.

Future programs are expected to include structured pathways for recognition, family support, education support, emergency assistance, military and veteran support, and financial-stability planning. Specific opportunities, standards, and eligibility requirements will be announced only after the Foundation completes necessary legal, operational, and administrative preparation. The Foundation is deliberately not making promises of automatic benefits, cash assistance, employment, placement, certification, or recognition.

The Foundation's website, https://www.shakerfoundationforamericanserviceheroes.org/, remains under active development as it prepares additional legal documentation, administrative contact channels, and future communications. Last week, the Foundation also launched its first official social media channel on Facebook. The Shaker Foundation for American Service Heroes is one of eight nonprofit organizations founded and funded by Shaker, whose wider work includes humanitarian, educational, integrity, animal-protection, community, and international service initiatives. He also leads Shaker Global Poverty Reduction, with its pilot program, Operation Bangladesh, preparing for its next stage over the next six months.

"Our country is safer because of people most Americans will never meet," Shaker said. "The soldier on duty, the veteran carrying the memory of service, the police officer on the night shift, the firefighter entering danger, the paramedic responding to an emergency, the corrections officer, the sheriff, the Border Patrol agent, the TSA officer, the federal investigator, and the families who stand behind them—we thank you. You make it possible for millions of Americans to wake up in the morning, go to work, travel, raise families, and sleep at night with greater peace of mind. Your service matters. Your sacrifice matters. Your family matters. This Foundation exists because we want you to know that you have not been forgotten."
