Nordex Group Raises EBITDA Margin Guidance to 11.5-12.5% on Strong Preliminary Q3/2026 Results

Nordex Group, a leading wind turbine manufacturer, announced preliminary unaudited third-quarter 2026 results that exceeded market expectations and prompted an upward revision of its EBITDA margin guidance for the full year. The company now expects an EBITDA margin of 11.5% to 12.5%, up from the previous guidance of 8.0% to 11.0%. All other elements of the full-year guidance remain unchanged. The announcement, made via NEWMEDIAWIRE, highlights the company's ability to capitalize on favorable market conditions and internal efficiencies.

For Q3 2026, Nordex anticipates EBITDA of approximately EUR 278 million, a significant increase from EUR 136 million in the same quarter last year. This translates to an EBITDA margin of 12.7%, compared to 8.0% in Q3 2025. Revenues for the quarter are expected to reach EUR 2,187 million, up from EUR 1,706 million in the prior-year period. The strong performance was driven by higher margins in the Service segment and robust project execution, while risks previously assumed in the Projects segment did not materialize to the extent anticipated.

The company's cash position also improved markedly. As of the end of Q3 2026, cash and cash equivalents totaled EUR 2,327 million, compared with EUR 1,929 million at the end of Q4 2025. Free cash flow for the third quarter is expected to be EUR 379 million, up from EUR 149 million in Q3 2025. Nordex expects free cash flow to remain positive in the fourth quarter, supported by additional profits, order intake momentum, and continued working capital improvement.

Jose Luis Blanco, CEO of Nordex Group, commented: "The third quarter shows what our teams can deliver. Strong execution in Projects and higher profitability in Service have put us in a very good position for the final quarter. We are raising our EBITDA margin guidance for 2026 and remain focused on profitable growth."

The revised guidance underscores Nordex's operational resilience and strategic focus. For investors and industry observers, the raised margin outlook signals confidence in sustained profitability amid a competitive renewable energy landscape. The improved cash flow and working capital position provide financial flexibility for future investments and potential shareholder returns. The news, originally released on www.newmediawire.com, may also bolster confidence among customers and partners, reinforcing Nordex's reputation as a reliable player in the onshore wind sector.

Nordex will publish its full third-quarter results on November 5, 2026. The company, which has commissioned over 67 GW of wind power capacity across more than 40 markets since 1985, generated consolidated sales of around EUR 7.6 billion in 2025. With more than 11,100 employees and manufacturing facilities in Germany, Spain, Brazil, India, the US, and Turkiye, Nordex focuses on onshore turbines in the 4 to 7 MW+ classes, designed for regions with limited space and constrained grid capacity. Nordex SE is listed on the MDAX and TecDAX of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
