The Nordex Group announced new orders from wind energy companies ENOVA and BMR energy solutions for the supply and installation of 30 wind turbines with a combined capacity exceeding 197 MW in Germany. The projects are located in Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, and North Rhine-Westphalia, and all contracts include long-term Premium Service agreements spanning 20 years.
In Boldecker Land, Lower Saxony, ENOVA is implementing a 68 MW repowering project with ten N163/6.X turbines. Installation is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2027, with commissioning planned for early 2028. In Schleswig-Holstein, Nordex will supply ENOVA with six N149/5.X turbines totaling 34.2 MW, with construction starting in early 2028 and commissioning by mid-2028.
Two projects in North Rhine-Westphalia—Nettetal and Breberen—were originally developed by BMR energy solutions. For the Nettetal project, sold by BMR to ENOVA, Nordex will supply five N163/6.X turbines, with construction beginning in October 2027 and commissioning in early 2028. In the Breberen repowering project, ENOVA and BMR are collaborating to replace existing turbines with nine N163/6.X units, aiming to boost electricity production and site efficiency. Installation starts in October 2027, with commissioning in the second quarter of 2028.
Karsten Bruggemann, Vice President Region Europe of the Nordex Group, emphasized the long-standing relationship with BMR and the expansion of joint projects with ENOVA. “The fact that both partners are relying on our technology and service expertise for these projects is a strong sign of confidence for us,” he said. Hendrik Böschen, Chief Operations Officer of ENOVA, noted that these projects mark a milestone in the development of their wind farm portfolio, highlighting cooperative and efficient implementation. “The fact that we are driving several projects of this scale forward in parallel underscores ENOVA’s operational strength and scalability in the German wind energy market,” Böschen added.
These orders come as Germany continues to expand its renewable energy capacity, with onshore wind playing a key role. ENOVA, as one of Germany’s largest onshore wind farm operators with 1 GW in its portfolio, aims to reach 3 GW by 2030 and increase assets under management to EUR 5 billion. BMR energy solutions, based in Geilenkirchen, has extensive experience in onshore wind project development, particularly in western Germany. The Nordex Group, with over 64 GW commissioned since 1985 and 2025 sales of around EUR 7.6 billion, continues to strengthen its position in the wind energy market. The company’s product portfolio focuses on onshore turbines in the 4 to 7 MW+ classes, designed for markets with limited space and constrained grid capacity.
