Nutritional Products International (NPI) founder and CEO Mitch Gould will attend Newtopia Now 2026 in Denver from August 18-20, where he will be available to meet with select brands seeking experienced partners to accelerate their growth in the U.S. market. Gould, who has procured multimillion-dollar orders from major retailers including Walmart, 7-Eleven, GNC, The Vitamin Shoppe, Vitamin World, CVS, and Walgreens, brings decades of experience in the health and wellness industry.
Gould played an integral role in the early development of Amazon's sports nutrition category, helping it grow from infancy to over $100 million in sales. His extensive retail relationships and strategic insight have made him a sought-after partner for emerging brands.
Newtopia Now, held at the Colorado Convention Center, brings together more than 500 emerging and established brands, along with retailers, distributors, investors, and industry leaders across natural products and consumer packaged goods. The event provides an opportunity for Gould to identify companies with innovative products and strong leadership that are ready to scale.
“We're not looking to work with every brand,” Gould said. “We're looking for companies where there is a strong fit and where we believe we can build something together. When you combine a great product and a committed entrepreneur with the right retail strategy, relationships, and execution, you have the foundation for long-term growth.”
Gould's career spans retail distribution, manufacturing, brand development, sales, and marketing. He has partnered with high-profile athletes and celebrities, including Wayne Gretzky, Steven Seagal, and Hulk Hogan, on product and brand initiatives. His experience led to the development of NPI's “Evolution of Distribution” platform, which provides domestic and international companies with a coordinated approach to entering and expanding in the U.S.
The platform integrates global logistics, U.S. market entry, product readiness, regulatory alignment, market positioning, brand strategy, retail and e-commerce placement, and post-placement marketing and demand generation. “Getting a product into the United States is only one piece of the puzzle,” Gould said. “You need the right strategy before you approach retailers, and then you need the infrastructure and marketing support to build demand after you secure placement.”
Newtopia Now's emphasis on emerging natural products makes the event particularly relevant to NPI's work. The 2026 show includes brands across food, beverage, wellness, beauty, and lifestyle categories, along with educational programming, networking opportunities, and the event's first International Pavilion.
Gould said he is particularly interested in conversations with entrepreneurs who have already built a strong product or brand and recognize that successfully scaling in the U.S. requires a comprehensive approach. “There are tremendous products being developed by entrepreneurs in the United States and around the world,” he said. “What many of those companies need is a partner who understands how to turn that potential into retail opportunities.”
Gould will be available for meetings with select brands during Newtopia Now 2026. Companies interested in discussing U.S. market expansion, retail distribution, and potential opportunities to work with NPI can contact Nutritional Products International to request a meeting.
